Last Saturday night we celebrated the Brother’s 50th birthday.
It was an 80s themed night so I, of course, went as Madonna. The Sister went as Peggy from Hi De Hi and the Daughter as a Rubic’s Cube. We hit trouble as soon as we left home because we needed petrol and none of us wanted to get out and put in. Fortunately, we had enough to last until our way home when, in deserted petrol station I whipped off the tutu before filling up with unleaded.
The Brother had gone as the Kenny Everett character, Angry of Mayfair, in pin striped suit from the front and lady’s underwear from the back. Same old Saturday night then!
People really threw themselves into it and it was lovely to see so many friends and family turn out for him.
I had a great time. But I realised all my female cousins plus the Sister and the Daughter are thin and I will never forgive my Cousin C her pert little butt. Nobody should have an arse like that at her age!!
Whose genes have I got?
Oooh Elaine, you looked fantastic and you were brave enough to wear your tutu and looked good, I have to say all the Cousins are thin, overly so, as you say Cousins C and J wore outfits that definitely only a “fit bird” could wear and boy they looked good!! Its all that fitness they do.. I spied 4 Madonna’s at the party, me included who wasn’t brave enough to wear her lime green tutu!!! xxx
